This position is ideal for occupational therapists or certified occupational therapy assistants (with OT supervision) who are passionate about helping children reach their fullest potential in a collaborative, school-based setting. Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Minnesota, or COTA license with willingness to be supervised by a licensed OT
  • Previous experience working in a school environment, especially with K-8 or K-5 students
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Bilingual in Spanish is highly valued
  • Commitment to evidence-based interventions and individualized care
  • Ability to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced, student-centered workplace

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services and support to students with a variety of needs, focusing on foundational K-5 skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to develop and implement IEPs
  • Conduct evaluations, maintain records, and track student progress
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to provide input and recommendations
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive environment that empowers all learners
  • If COTA, partner closely with supervising OT for program implementation
