Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist - CCC certification
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) for school-based practice
  • Prior experience working with K-8 students preferred
  • Proficiency using AAC devices and implementing communication strategies
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to approximately 40 students with communication deficits
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention plans
  • Collaborate with educators, support staff, families, and administrators to foster student success
  • Assess, document, and report on student progress
  • Provide training and resources on AAC technology to staff and caregivers
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with school requirements
