Job Description
Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist working with students across K–12 in a dynamic, supportive district near Grand Blanc, MI. This contract position runs from August 24th, 2026, through June 10th, 2027, encompassing service to approximately 65–70 students. You’ll partner with elementary, secondary, virtual programs, and even a private school, providing both direct and drop-in support for students with a wide range of disabilities.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active SLP licensure and required state certifications
- Experience working with school-aged children (K–12)
- Strong familiarity with a wide variety of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Ability to adapt service delivery methods across on-site and virtual settings
- Flexible mindset and willingness to work at multiple locations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially for IEP meetings
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services to students across four district locations
- Conduct drop-in support and scheduled therapy sessions
- Complete both initial evaluations and re-evaluations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and actively participate in IEP meetings
- Adjust service approaches to best meet individual student needs
- Engage with families, teachers, and staff as a knowledgeable resource
