Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for an experienced Interim Pharmacy Operations Manager to lead pharmacy services at a well-established 250-bed hospital in Northern California. This contract assignment offers the chance to make a significant impact in a dynamic healthcare environment with a start date as soon as possible, lasting 3 to 6 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
  • Lead, mentor, and coordinate pharmacy staff to maintain optimal service delivery.
  • Manage workflow, inventory, and medication distribution processes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to promote patient safety and quality outcomes.
  • Implement strategies for process improvement and operational efficiency.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership experience as a Pharmacy Manager or in a similar managerial role within a hospital setting.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, regulations, and best practices.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage complex challenges effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse hospital teams.
  • Pharmacy license and credentials as required for practice in California.
