This hybrid role combines the flexibility of working from home on Mondays and Fridays with onsite engagement Tuesdays through Thursdays, offering an engaging blend of autonomy and collaboration.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license (Mild to Moderate or Moderate to Intense)
- Previous experience with case management responsibilities in special education
- Proficiency with Same Goal IEP platform essential
- Deep understanding of IEP writing, facilitation of IEP meetings, and full administrative duties
- Experience working with K-8 student populations and a range of disabilities
- Strong organizational skills to manage up to 100 IEPs annually
- Immediate availability preferred; not eligible for emergency licensure or sponsorships
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee case management for students in grades K-8, supporting individualized education plan (IEP) compliance and process outcomes
- Write and update IEPs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Facilitate IEP meetings and collaborate with families, staff, and related service providers
- Perform all related administrative work associated with IEP documentation and implementation
- Effectively communicate student progress and next steps with relevant stakeholders
- Coordinate services for students with diverse needs and uphold best practices in special education
