Special Education Teacher - Cleveland, Ohio

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license (Mild to Moderate or Moderate to Intense)
• Previous experience with case management responsibilities in special education
• Proficiency with Same Goal IEP platform essential
• Deep understanding of IEP writing, facilitation of IEP meetings, and full administrative duties
• Experience working with K-8 student populations and a range of disabilities
• Strong organizational skills to manage up to 100 IEPs annually
• Immediate availability preferred; not eligible for emergency licensure or sponsorships

Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversee case management for students in grades K-8, supporting individualized education plan (IEP) compliance and process outcomes
• Write and update IEPs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Facilitate IEP meetings and collaborate with families, staff, and related service providers
• Perform all related administrative work associated with IEP documentation and implementation
• Effectively communicate student progress and next steps with relevant stakeholders
• Coordinate services for students with diverse needs and uphold best practices in special education
