School Psychologist | Willoughby, Ohio

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a School Psychologist, providing crucial support to elementary students in a vibrant, in-person educational environment. This full-time position runs from ASAP through June 1, 2027, with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule totaling 40 hours per week. You will play a pivotal role working with students in grades 1 to 4, supporting a diverse range of learning and behavioral needs.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred
• Demonstrated expertise in psychological and educational assessments
• Familiarity with supporting diverse student populations, including those with various disabilities
• Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Knowledge of IEP processes and special education requirements

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for elementary-aged students
• Evaluate and support students presenting with a variety of learning and behavioral needs
• Develop, interpret, and explain assessment reports and tailored recommendations
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and support providers to foster student success
• Provide direct counseling, consultation, and behavioral interventions as needed
• Track student progress and help develop appropriate academic and behavioral interventions
• Maintain detailed records to ensure compliance with all special education regulations
