Take the next step in your speech-language pathology career by making a meaningful difference in the lives of K-5 students as a bilingual SLP. This rewarding in-person assignment serves a diverse elementary school community near San Diego, CA, with an immediate start date and continuing through June 9, 2027.

In this role, you’ll work on a vibrant campus, supporting a caseload of 50-60 students. Your day will consist of seven hours onsite, with 35 paid weekly hours (excluding your lunch break). Put your expertise to work helping children overcome communication challenges and supporting their academic and social development.

Qualifications required for consideration:

  • Bilingual SLP, able to provide services in both English and a second language
  • SLP-CCC required
  • In-person only (positions are not open to remote providers)
  • For non-credentialed SLP applicants:
    • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
    • California SLP License
    • Certificate of Clearance (COC) posted on the CA Commission on Teacher Credentialing website
    • Recent TB clearance
    • Livescan fingerprinting completed with specific district form
    • If your Master’s degree is from outside the US, a CTC agency equivalency report is required
  • For credentialed SLP applicants:
    • California SLP credential posted on the CTC website
    • TB clearance
    • Livescan fingerprinting completed with the district’s form

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments
  • Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborating closely with teachers, families, and support staff
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation
  • Delivering both individual and group therapy
