Schedule:
- Monday - Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
- Saturday & Sunday: Closed
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify and dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Manage and oversee daily pharmacy operations alongside one pharmacy technician
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations
- Support specialty pharmacy services, contributing to a high level of patient care
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Alabama State Pharmacist license with a clean disciplinary record
- Minimum of 2 years of recent retail staff pharmacist experience, preferably in a busy independent or specialty pharmacy setting
- Proven ability to manage pharmacy technicians effectively
- Experience with Pioneer RX pharmacy software is a plus
