You’ll collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals, ensuring individualized learning and helping students reach their greatest potential for the entire school year, starting September 1, 2026, and concluding June 4, 2027.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Minnesota Special Education teaching license (Tier 3 or 4 required)
- Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly those with DCD/ASD needs
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to implement IEPs and adapt curriculum to diverse learners’ needs
- Demonstrated professional commitment to equity, inclusion, and student-centered learning
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute individualized lesson plans tailored to students with developmental cognitive and/or autism spectrum disorders
- Maintain accurate records, monitor student progress, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide direct instruction and behavioral support within a structured classroom setting
- Create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
- Build relationships with students and foster skills that support their academic and personal growth
