Job Description
Make a meaningful difference supporting K–12 students by delivering speech and language services in a collaborative school environment. This full-time, contract opportunity runs from August 24th, 2026 to June 10th, 2027 and offers the rewarding challenge of serving a diverse caseload of approximately 65–70 students across four district locations. With involvement in elementary, secondary, a virtual program, and a private school serviced by the district, you’ll have the chance to engage with a wide range of learners and make a real impact.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure and SLP certification
- Experience providing speech and language services in school settings (K–12 preferred)
- Comfortable working with students with diverse abilities and all disability categories
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to efficiently manage a multi-site caseload and adapt quickly to changing needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students from kindergarten through high school
- Provide drop-in services and support as needed
- Conduct initial evaluations and comprehensive re-evaluations
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams
- Travel between four building locations serving district-wide programs, including virtual and private education settings
- Maintain timely documentation and progress tracking for all students
