Make a meaningful difference in the lives of elementary students as a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic educational setting near San Ysidro, CA. This in-person opportunity runs from now through June 9, 2027, and offers the chance to work with a diverse caseload of 50-60 young learners, supporting their growth in communication and language skills. Each workday is 7 hours long (excluding a lunch break), with a weekly schedule totaling 35 paid hours.

Key Qualifications:

  • SLP-CCC or eligible SLP with active license
  • Bilingual skills strongly desired
  • For non-credentialed SLPs:
    • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
    • State of California SLP license
    • Certificate of Clearance posted on the CA Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) website
    • Current TB clearance
    • Livescan fingerprint clearance (completed with district-provided form)
    • If the master’s is from outside the USA, a CTC-approved equivalency report is required
  • For credentialed SLPs:
    • Credential posted on the CTC website
    • Current TB clearance
    • Livescan fingerprint clearance (completed with district form)
  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities
  • Committed to in-person instruction

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized and group therapy to a caseload of elementary students
  • Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with education teams
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and progress monitoring
  • Communicate effectively with families and staff
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with district and state standards
