Qualifications:

  • Valid Colorado Special Education (SPED) teaching license is required.
  • Previous experience working with K-8 students is highly valued.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized instruction, intervention, and advocacy for students with a range of learning needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with families and educational teams.
  • Track student progress, maintain detailed documentation, and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Facilitate a positive classroom environment and encourage student engagement.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure accommodations and modifications are effectively implemented.

This is a full-time position, offering 40 hours across five days each week, in a supportive, resource-rich school setting. The caseload size will be discussed further to best match your expertise with student needs.
