Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Roswell, Georgia

Active Respiratory Therapist license and 2+ years of in-patient hospital Respiratory Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Your specialized training as a Registered Respiratory Therapist will be pivotal in helping patients manage and overcome respiratory difficulties.

Qualifications:

• Current credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• License to practice respiratory care in the state, in good standing
• Proficiency with respiratory equipment, including ventilators and nebulizers
• Solid understanding of arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis and interpretation
• BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Proven experience managing both adult and pediatric patient cases
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and provide respiratory care procedures as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor patient responses to therapy, adjusting interventions as needed for optimum outcomes
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and manage ventilator settings confidently
• Document all assessments, interventions, and responses accurately within patient records
• Participate in interdisciplinary care teams to discuss respiratory management strategies
• Educate patients and family members on respiratory health, equipment use, and therapy plans
• Maintain a safe and hygienic environment, following infection control protocols

$1,474 - $1,613/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
