Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) working with a close-knit team serving PreK through 6th grade students in a small school district near Elk River, MN. This is a full-time position ideal for someone who thrives in an environment where individualized attention and community connection make a real difference in children’s lives. The assignment is set to begin ASAP and will run through early November.

You will support young learners as they develop vital communication skills and help foster their academic and social growth. This is a wonderful chance to make a lasting impact in a rural educational setting with small class sizes, allowing for more personalized approaches.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Prior school-based SLP experience or strong pediatric clinical background
  • Comfortable working with PreK to 6th grade populations
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly and provide support both directly and through consultation with staff and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
  • Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school and legal guidelines
  • Contribute to a positive, supportive school culture and participate in team meetings as needed
