Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Trinity, NC

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current or eligible state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Open to both licensed SLPs and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
• Solid knowledge in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with students, teachers, and families
• Organizational skills and an ability to manage multiple caseload requirements

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations to identify students’ speech and language needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language disorders
• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support students’ educational goals
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Support and provide guidance to families and educators regarding communication strategies and interventions
