Key Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current OT license in the state of Connecticut
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric occupational therapy role strongly preferred
• Skilled in implementing individualized therapy plans, evaluations, and interventions for children
• Excellent interpersonal abilities to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
• Ability to adapt to diverse needs and support inclusion within the classroom setting

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans
• Work collaboratively with teachers, other therapists, and administrative staff to optimize student success and participation
• Document session notes, progress reports, and maintain compliance with school and state guidelines
• Support students in developing motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and adaptive strategies to enhance educational engagement
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations for student growth
