Are you a credentialed School Psychologist looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students? We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative School Psychologist to join a supportive school team in the Southern Lansing, Michigan area for the upcoming school year.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional to use their expertise in assessment, intervention, and consultation while working alongside educators, administrators, families, and related service providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment results to identify student needs.
  • Prepare detailed evaluation reports and participate in IEP, eligibility, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers to develop effective student support strategies.
  • Provide consultation regarding academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and mental health needs.
  • Assist with Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and data-driven interventions when appropriate.
  • Monitor student progress and use data to guide recommendations and services.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with Michigan and federal special education requirements.
  • Build positive relationships with students and staff while promoting a supportive and inclusive school environment.

Qualifications

  • Valid Michigan School Psychologist credential/certification or eligibility to obtain prior to the start date.
  • Master's, Educational Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and writing comprehensive reports.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous school-based experience preferred.
