We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Recruiter to support hiring operations for a wholesale distribution organization in Syracuse, New York. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who can manage the full recruitment lifecycle in a fast-paced manufacturing setting while building strong partnerships with leaders across multiple locations. The role will focus on attracting talent, guiding candidates through the hiring process, and helping teams meet ongoing workforce needs with efficiency and professionalism.

Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end recruitment activities, from sourcing candidates through offer coordination and pre-employment steps.
• Collaborate with hiring managers and site leadership across multiple facilities to understand staffing priorities and align recruiting efforts.
• Build and maintain active candidate pipelines for current openings and anticipated hiring demands.
• Review applications, conduct initial screenings, and coordinate interviews to move candidates with relevant experience through the process efficiently.
• Oversee onboarding-related activities, including background verification and coordination of required candidate screening steps, to support a smooth start for new hires.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on search progress, market feedback, and hiring timelines.
• Manage scheduling and recruitment workflow details within the applicant tracking process to ensure an organized candidate experience.• 4-5+ years of recruiting experience, including ownership of full-cycle hiring processes.
• Demonstrated ability to source, assess, interview, and advance candidates for a variety of roles.
• Hands-on experience coordinating onboarding tasks, background checks, and requirements for candidate screening.
• Comfortable working independently, setting priorities, and contributing effectively with minimal ramp-up time.
• Background supporting recruiting efforts in manufacturing, industrial, or similarly fast-moving operational environments.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment workflow management.
• Strong communication and partnership skills for working with managers and leadership across multiple locations.
