School-Based Physical Therapist - Porter, TX

Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid Physical Therapist (PT) license or certification
• Previous experience in school-based physical therapy settings preferred
• Strong understanding of pediatric therapy needs, K-12
• Ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Familiarity with supervising Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs)
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy services to students, supporting access to their educational environment
• Complete detailed assessments and create tailored intervention plans
• Supervise and guide a PTA to ensure quality service and compliance
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and adhere to federal, state, and local policies
