Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Sugar Land, TX
Job Description
Make a meaningful impact supporting young learners by bringing your expertise in speech-language pathology to a dynamic educational environment. Two experienced SLP-CCC professionals are needed to provide services primarily across elementary campuses, with a special focus on early childhood populations. This is a full-time, on-site position offering a rewarding opportunity to work collaboratively and help shape communication skills for students who need your support most.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure for the state, with CCC required
- Demonstrated experience delivering services within schools (elementary and self-contained settings preferred)
- Background working with early childhood and/or in early childhood centers is highly valued
- Ability to work on-site full-time (35 hours across 4-5 days weekly); remote/VOCO work not available
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- No educator credential required
Key responsibilities include:
- Evaluating and providing speech/language therapy tailored to students’ individual education plans (IEPs)
- Creating and executing engaging intervention sessions for early childhood and elementary students
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student success
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school standards
- Consulting with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ overall growth
- Serving across multiple campuses as needed
