Special Education Teacher in Peterborough, NH

You’ll work on-site within three different school buildings, engaging with students from 1st through 11th grade, including charter schools and those within the Keene boundary.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• New Hampshire Special Education Teacher certification (required)
• Experience teaching in special education settings, with adaptability across elementary and high school grade levels
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and implement accommodating strategies
• Collaborative approach to working with staff, parents, and related service providers
• Commitment to onsite presence—remote work is not available for this position

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction to students with diverse learning needs in grades 1-11
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
• Support students within both general education and specialized classrooms as appropriate
• Track progress and generate reports to facilitate student growth and compliance
• Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings across multiple school locations
