Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Hammond, Indiana

Active Respiratory Therapist license and 2+ years of in-patient hospital Respiratory Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist required
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credentials required
• Recent clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting strongly preferred
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams
• Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based respiratory care to patients with a variety of acute and chronic conditions
• Perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedures including ventilator management, nebulizer treatments, and airway clearance techniques
• Monitor patient response and make care adjustments as needed
• Accurately document interventions and observations in accordance with hospital standards
• Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments and home care practices
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
