An independent community pharmacy in Asheville is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to provide high-quality retail pharmacy services. This per diem opportunity offers a consistent schedule with guaranteed shifts, providing excellent work-life balance and a pathway to a permanent role.

Location:

• Asheville, NC

Schedule:

• Two shifts per week guaranteed
• Fixed shift every Friday from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• One additional weekday shift (Monday-Thursday) scheduled by mutual agreement and maintained consistently
• Day shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
• Counsel patients on medication usage and safety
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
• Manage inventory and oversee daily pharmacy operations

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid North Carolina Pharmacist License
• Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Ability to build rapport with patients and staff in a community setting
