Special Education Teacher Job Description:
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs and abilities.
• Provide differentiated instruction and support to students with diverse learning styles and abilities, including those with learning disabilities, developmental delays, or behavioral challenges.
• Collaborate with parents, fellow teachers, and support staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic, social, and emotional growth.
• Utilize specialized teaching techniques, assistive technologies, and adaptive materials to accommodate students' learning requirements and facilitate their progress towards educational goals.
• Caseload details:
Openings: 1 - Hours: Part time. The hours are 8am - 11am, except on Wednesdays which will be 8am - 10am, both are 1st to 3rd period
Caseload:
1. Age group and grade level are 12/13 - 7th and 8th with between 14 and 16 students
Special Requirements: MUST be CTC Mild/Mod
Pay & Benefits:
Highly competitive compensation $45-$60
