Two unique opportunities are available for dedicated educators—one in a K-2 multi-categorical classroom and another in a high school resource setting. Both roles offer you the chance to work closely with a small group of students, supported by experienced paraprofessionals, within vibrant and innovative learning environments.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification (state-appropriate or eligibility for reciprocity)
- Experience in K-2 or high school special education settings preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teaching teams, paraprofessionals, and specialists
- Strong communication, organizational, and instructional skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom culture
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver individualized and small group instruction aligned with IEP goals and academic standards
- Create and implement engaging, differentiated lesson plans
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals and related service providers to support student success
- Communicate regularly with families and participate in IEP meetings
- Collect, track, and report on student progress
- Adapt instruction and classroom routines to best support diverse learning needs
Opportunities Available:
- K-2 multi-categorical classroom (6-7 students, 2 paraprofessionals), schedule: 7:15 AM – 2:45 PM
- High school resource setting (academic seminar, push-in support), schedule: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
