Qualifications:
- Current Special Education Teacher certification
- LBS1 endorsement required
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
- Ability to design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility to adapt instruction and support across various grade levels
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement tailored lesson plans based on students’ IEPs
- Employ a range of instructional strategies to engage students with different abilities
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
- Foster a classroom environment that encourages respect, inclusion, and academic growth
- Work collaboratively with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Maintain accurate records and participate in meetings as required
