Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience with elementary school caseloads preferred
• Ability to design and implement IEPs tailored to student needs
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Comfort managing a caseload of approximately 25 students
• Resourceful, patient, and enthusiastic about inclusive education

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support to elementary students in a resource room environment
• Develop, review, and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, specialists, and parents to foster success
• Track student progress and document data to adjust instructional strategies
• Create a positive, supportive atmosphere where all learners can thrive
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
