Key Qualifications:
- More than 10 years of experience as a Special Education Teacher
- Active Oregon Special Education Teacher license (OR SPED)
- Strong ability to coordinate educational, health, and behavioral services for students
- Skilled in providing administrative or clerical support within school settings
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Passion for improving school programs and student outcomes
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate implementation of special education services across the school
- Assist teachers to effectively deliver individualized support and accommodations
- Manage student health or behavioral service plans, collaborating with various stakeholders
- Contribute administrative or clerical assistance to help programs run smoothly
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource for school staff on special education policies and best practices
