Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) or Counseling from an accredited program
  • Current full licensure in Michigan (LMSW or LPC); Limited License (LLMSW/LLPC) considered with trajectory toward full licensure
  • Prior experience in a public school or related agency preferred
  • Comfort and confidence working onsite with K-12 caseload
  • Experience with collaborative teams highly valued

Responsibilities:

  • Guide staff in data collection and recommend evidence-based interventions
  • Design and implement tiered interventions and consult with educators
  • Provide individual and group intervention for students
  • Actively participate in MTSS meetings, support team discussions, and parent conferences
  • Maintain thorough records and documentation of student engagements
  • Coordinate comprehensive services for students and families
  • Empower families to engage in their child’s educational experiences
  • Support and comply with district policies across assigned schools
