Step into a rewarding role supporting students' communication and development as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) in the Dallas, TX area. This part-time opportunity, offering 20-25 hours per week, is ideal for a dedicated professional passionate about working with school-aged children while maintaining flexibility.

You’ll play a pivotal role in student success, providing direct speech-language therapy, overseeing team members, and ensuring compliance with educational requirements. Your leadership and clinical expertise will be valued as you supervise SLPA’s, conduct evaluations, and manage IEPs—helping students achieve their full potential.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Valid state SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain in Texas)
  • Previous experience in school settings preferred
  • Strong background in conducting evaluations, developing and managing IEPs, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience supervising SLPA’s highly desirable
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy services for students, addressing a range of communication disorders
  • Supervise and mentor SLPA’s, ensuring high standards of therapy delivery and compliance
  • Complete comprehensive speech-language evaluations for students as needed
  • Develop, manage, and participate in IEP meetings, documenting student progress and ongoing needs
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
  • Maintain accurate records and uphold all relevant school district policies and regulations
