Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Colorado SLP license
  • Experience or interest in working with pediatric or school populations
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to different student needs and individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborative, flexible, and dedicated to supporting elementary students’ progress

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary students, addressing a variety of communication needs
  • Conduct assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and monitor student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings as a valued team member, providing recommendations and insights
  • Maintain accurate records of sessions, progress, and compliance with school and state requirements
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to foster a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere
  • Provide consultation and resources to educators to help generalize communication skills in the classroom
