Qualifications:
- Current and valid Colorado SLP license
- Experience or interest in working with pediatric or school populations
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to different student needs and individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborative, flexible, and dedicated to supporting elementary students’ progress
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary students, addressing a variety of communication needs
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings as a valued team member, providing recommendations and insights
- Maintain accurate records of sessions, progress, and compliance with school and state requirements
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to foster a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere
- Provide consultation and resources to educators to help generalize communication skills in the classroom
