We are seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers for immediate contract roles, serving various needs including coverage for parental leave as well as month-to-month assignments with the possibility to extend through the full school year for those who prove to be a great fit.
In this full-time position, you’ll work Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 2:15pm, supporting elementary students in all-inclusion settings. You will play an integral role by co-teaching English Language Arts (ELA) or Math, managing a caseload of students with IEPs, fostering collaboration with general education teachers, and driving positive educational outcomes for every learner in your care.
What we’re looking for:
- Current special education teaching certification (required)
- Demonstrated strength and experience in teaching Math
- Talented communicator skilled at collaborating with colleagues
- Experience supporting diverse elementary student populations in inclusive classroom environments
- Understanding of best practices in IEP management and academic intervention
In this role, you will:
- Co-teach ELA or Math alongside classroom teachers
- Oversee and manage IEPs and individualized student supports
- Work closely with general education staff to deliver differentiated instruction
- Support social, emotional, and academic progress for a range of student abilities
- Contribute to data teams, IEP meetings, and ongoing professional development
