Open Roles:
- Position 1: Full-time temporary coverage from August 25 to October 4, supporting students during a leave period at the elementary level.
- Position 2: Full-time assignment starting September 1 and continuing through the end of the school year, working with North County Schools.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapy licensure in the state or eligibility to obtain
- Previous experience in school settings or pediatrics highly valued
- Thorough understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to organize and manage caseloads efficiently
- Dedication to fostering students’ independence and participation
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and deliver evidence-based therapy for students with a range of needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with classroom educators and families
- Document progress, maintain up-to-date records, and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
- Consult with teachers and support staff, offering strategies to promote student achievement
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to a positive school environment
