Qualifications:

  • Ohio Intervention Specialist K-12 Mild/Moderate License or Alternative Intervention Specialist License required
  • Experience working with students aged 12–14 preferred
  • Comfortable serving a caseload of up to 16 middle school students
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction aligned with each student’s IEP
  • Collaboratively co-plan with math and English teachers for grades 7 and 8
  • Write, attend, and lead IEP meetings for your caseload
  • Maintain accurate documentation and consistent communication with parents
  • Monitor progress and ensure compliance with all regulations
  • Fulfill additional teacher duties as necessary
