Qualifications:
- Valid Colorado Special Education (SPED) teaching license
- Experience working with K-8 students with varied learning needs
- Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility and adaptability to support a diverse caseload
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction in accordance with IEP goals, both in small group and individual settings
- Assess student needs, develop educational plans, and monitor progress
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to promote student success
- Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and compliance documentation
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that supports social, emotional, and academic growth
