This onsite role focuses on fostering student well-being through collaboration with educational teams, students, and families. The schedule runs 33.75 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 7:25am to 2:40pm, providing a healthy work-life balance.
Key Qualifications:
- Current certification as a School Psychologist in Maryland
- Experience or strong interest in working with middle school students
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to conduct assessments and provide recommendations for interventions
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and advocating for student needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Administer psychoeducational assessments and interpret findings
- Develop, implement, and monitor intervention strategies
- Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary meetings, providing expert input
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success
- Offer crisis intervention and support as needed
- Maintain detailed documentation and confidential records
