Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree from an accredited program in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current, active state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Experience or strong interest in working within a school setting
- Effective communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop rapport with students from diverse backgrounds
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment outcomes and IEP goals
- Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, adapting strategies to each student's needs
- Collect data and maintain accurate records to monitor progress and compliance
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, parents, and other support staff to integrate therapy into students’ educational plans
