Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current, valid SLP state license or eligibility to obtain one
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFYs are welcome to apply
- Recent experience in a school setting strongly desired
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech and language therapy services to a diverse student population
- Conduct assessments and re-evaluations to determine student needs
- Create and update IEPs in collaboration with general and special education staff, families, and related service providers
- Track student progress and adjust therapy methods as needed
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Engage actively in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team planning sessions
- Support positive student outcomes by providing strategies to classroom teachers and parents
