This full-time, contract opportunity will allow you to provide specialized speech and language services within a welcoming educational environment near Winfield, KS. Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current, valid SLP state license or eligibility to obtain one
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFYs are welcome to apply
  • Recent experience in a school setting strongly desired
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech and language therapy services to a diverse student population
  • Conduct assessments and re-evaluations to determine student needs
  • Create and update IEPs in collaboration with general and special education staff, families, and related service providers
  • Track student progress and adjust therapy methods as needed
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
  • Engage actively in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team planning sessions
  • Support positive student outcomes by providing strategies to classroom teachers and parents
