Exciting opportunities await occupational therapists passionate about making a difference in school settings! Multiple contract roles are available near Minneapolis, MN, ideal for OTs with experience in educational environments and a dedication to supporting students with special needs.

Here’s a snapshot of available positions:

  • Position 1 (Leave of Absence): North Education Center, .8 FTE, 32 hours/week across 4 days. This assignment runs from August 31st to approximately November 13th, focusing on students receiving Setting IV special education services.
  • Position 2 (Leave of Absence): South Education Center, full-time, 40 hours/week, 5 days/week, from September 21st to January 4th (excluding winter break). You’ll work closely with Setting IV special education students.
  • Position 3 (Full Year): Split between district schools in the south metro area and the Ann Bremmer Education Center for 20 hours/week. Responsibilities include supporting special education students, with a mix of settings based on each location.
  • Position 4 (Pending): Full-time, awaiting district confirmation.

Preferred candidates will be considered first for positions 1–3. When applying, please specify which role you’re interested in.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license and school-based OT experience required
  • Successful completion of agency onboarding and a district background check
  • Reliable transportation
  • Positive standing from previous placements if already credentialed
  • Able to commit to the school’s schedule and assignment duration

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy to students in special education settings
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement IEP goals
  • Document and assess student progress
  • Adapt interventions for a variety of classroom and therapeutic environments
