In this full-time, onsite role, you’ll support multiple schools Monday through Friday, from 8am-3:30pm, traveling to various campuses throughout the district.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active NM CTRS Certification required
  • Experience working with K-12 students in a school or clinical setting
  • Skills in social work and/or recreational therapy
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to travel between multiple school sites

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate group games to foster social skills for students with autism
  • Guide students with ADHD in structured physical activities to help manage energy
  • Adapt sports and recreation to support developmental delays and improve gross motor skills
  • Encourage use of community resources and inclusion in recreational programs for students with disabilities
  • Teach coping strategies and relaxation techniques to assist students dealing with stress, anxiety, or depression
