Desired Qualifications:

• Current state certification as a Special Education Teacher
• Experience working with students with a range of disabilities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Knowledge of differentiated instruction and behavioral intervention strategies
• Energetic, patient, and adaptable approach

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to meet the needs of students in resource or traditional classroom settings
• Develop and update IEPs in collaboration with parents, staff, and related service providers

• Work closely with classroom teachers and paraeducators to support student goals
