Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education (elementary grades)
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
• Experience with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Understanding of both pull-out and push-in service delivery
• Skills in collaboration with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Ability to cultivate a supportive, structured learning environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and adapt individualized education plans (IEPs) for assigned students
• Deliver direct instruction in both pull-out and push-in formats, fostering engagement and academic success
• Work closely with general education teachers and paraprofessionals to support effective inclusion
• Track student progress and maintain ongoing communication with families and staff
• Use creative, evidence-based practices to meet varied learning needs

This contract position follows the school calendar, running from August 24 through May 28, with an 8-hour workday plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch daily. Paraprofessional assistance is provided in accordance with student IEPs, supporting your impactful work in the classroom.
