Job Description
Make a meaningful impact supporting K-12 students as a School Psychologist in a contract position based near Charlotte, MI for the upcoming 26/27 school year. This full-time onsite role is focused on providing evaluation-heavy support within a dynamic school environment. You’ll play a key part in helping students succeed academically, emotionally, and socially while collaborating with a dedicated educational team.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Current Michigan Educator Certification (active status required)
- Previous experience as a School Psychologist in a K-12 educational setting preferred
- Strong assessment, evaluation, and report-writing skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize a caseload focused on comprehensive evaluations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Collaborative mindset and a passion for student advocacy
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for K-12 students
- Interpret assessment results and develop recommendations for student support
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide consultation and guidance to teachers, staff, and families
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
