This part-time role is ideal for Occupational Therapists passionate about supporting students and who are comfortable across school-based, home health, and teletherapy environments. The position is for coverage of a medical leave, expected to run for 6-8 weeks from now until October 31st, with the possibility of extension.
Utilize your diverse OT expertise—whether it’s hands-on at the school, providing vital services in home settings, or reaching students via teletherapy. You’ll be instrumental in helping students access the curriculum, develop independence in daily tasks, and achieve their therapy goals.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in California
- Experience in school-based OT, teletherapy platforms, and home health settings
- Solid understanding of IEPs, progress reporting, and collaborating with educational teams
- Strong communication skills to engage with students, staff, and families
- Adaptability to provide therapy across a variety of modalities and environments
- Familiarity with both onsite and virtual service delivery
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ needs and create individualized therapy plans
- Deliver occupational therapy services in both school and home settings, as well as remotely
- Monitor progress and document outcomes for IEP compliance
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to ensure holistic student support
- Offer consultative guidance for staff and parents as needed
This part-time contract offers flexible scheduling—just two days per week—giving you the freedom to balance personal and professional commitments while impacting student lives.
