Essential Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Special Education Certification
- AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Experience collaborating with fellow educators, related service providers, and families
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based instruction within a special education classroom
- Write, update, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
- Foster inclusive and supportive classroom environments
- Partner with general education teachers and support personnel to ensure holistic support
- Communicate proactively with families to update them on student progress and needs
