Key Qualifications:

  • Valid California CTC Certification in Mild/Moderate Special Education (required)
  • Demonstrated experience working with elementary students with behavioral challenges
  • Strong classroom management and behavioral intervention skills
  • Ability to craft and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored instruction and interventions to address academic and behavioral goals
  • Develop supportive learning environments for students with mild/moderate needs
  • Collaborate with general educators, paraprofessionals, and families to support student progress
  • Collect and analyze data to monitor and report on individual student outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to continuous program improvement
