A Physical Therapist with expertise in school therapy is needed to work one-on-one with a dedicated student, ensuring their therapeutic goals and educational access are met with skill and compassion. This role is conveniently scheduled for just 30 minutes per week, giving you the flexibility to make a meaningful difference with a minimal time commitment.
Qualifications:
- Current, active Physical Therapist license in the state of Texas
- Experience providing PT services to pediatric or school-aged individuals, especially those with significant needs, is strongly preferred
- Ability to collaborate with educational teams and communicate effectively with staff and families
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct physical therapy services to one high-needs student, in accordance with their IEP and therapy goals
- Complete thorough, accurate documentation and progress reports
- Assess, plan, and implement individual therapy interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and contribute professional insight to enhance student outcomes
Position Details:
- Contract runs through May 21, 2027, with opportunities to build meaningful long-term rapport
- Location: Dime Box, TX (near Burton)
- Weekly hours: 30 minutes, one day per week
- Caseload: One student with high needs
