The assignment runs full-time, 35 hours per week (spread across 4-5 days), continuing through June 5, 2027.
In this dynamic position, you’ll collaborate with dedicated staff to provide essential speech and language services, primarily within elementary settings. Professionals with experience in self-contained classrooms, as well as those familiar with early childhood programs, will find this opportunity especially rewarding. The position is strictly on-site, ensuring direct student interaction and optimal support.
What We’re Looking For:
- Active Texas state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC required)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting (elementary and/or early childhood strongly preferred)
- Comfortable working full-time, on-site (no virtual options available)
- Ability to work with self-contained classrooms a plus
- Educator credential not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to elementary students, adapting interventions to meet diverse needs
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to best serve students’ communication goals
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with school and state standards
