Make a difference in students’ lives as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting high school and middle school populations under a full-time contract opportunity. This role is ideal for compassionate professionals eager to support communication development and provide quality therapy services in a collaborative educational environment.

Two positions are available:

  • One SLP will primarily manage a high school caseload, partnering with an existing SLP to provide overflow support.
  • The second SLP will split time between high school and middle school settings, ensuring comprehensive care across age groups.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid SLP license for practice in California
  • Experience working in schools or a similar educational environment preferred
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with classroom teachers, fellow therapists, and support staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and reports required by school and regulatory agencies
  • Offer consultation and collaborate with classroom staff to support student success and inclusion
  • Provide direct and indirect therapy, adapting techniques for individual, group, and classroom settings
  • Communicate with parents/guardians regarding progress, strategies, and resources
