Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist in the Denver area! This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to provide impactful services in a dynamic educational environment. The assignment runs from ASAP through the end of May, with 35 hours per week and a caseload likely focused on mild to moderate needs—final assignment details will be shared prior to your start.

What you’ll bring:

  • Minimum Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Active Colorado Department of Education (CO DOE) certification
  • Active Colorado SLP License (acceptable: Speech-Language Pathologist, Speech Connectionist, or Speech Therapist for ages birth–21)
  • Experience or strong interest in working within PreK-12 settings
  • Ability to complete a background check via the district website
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect therapy services for students in a school-based setting (number of schools assigned TBD)
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat disorders related to speech, language, voice, and fluency
  • Consult and collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support each student’s development and learning goals
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and document progress effectively
  • Support a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment for learners
